民族音樂學堂 風華再起—傳統宮廷VS現代歌舞

Traditional music always encounters the dilemma of guarding the heritage while generating new innovations. This difficulty is more obvious in the development of the court music after the collapse of the Royal power itself. The survival of the traditional music that attaches to the imperiality must avoid the future of becoming the specimen of music and fight their own way out. This program has invited Romo Sas Dance Group of Yogyakarta to perform traditional as well as innovative repertoires with Professor Bramantyo's enlightenments about the future of the Yogyakarta court music. Professor Cai Zong-De and Professor Bramantyo will talk about the dispute between tradition and modernism and examine the case in Taiwan and the new trend in the world.
