In 2010, Director Huan-hsiun Li steps into the 25th year of his theatre career, and Dans la Solitude des Champs de Cotton will prove to be another ultimate mission again. Dans la solitude des champs de cotton is the bewildering classic left by Bernard-Marie Koltes. Two anonymous characters, the confrontation of the merchant and the customer, the wrestle in language turns into actions. No rules, no strategies, only weapons, but what kind? This production proceeds between the monologue and the conversation; the debate of philosophy and the quarrel of nonsense; the gender and the race and eventually ends in a question mark.
