2009世界之窗日本系列－歌舞伎演出暨示範講座

Kabuki, along with Kyogen and Bunraku, is one of the three types of classical Japanese drama. Originating 4 centuries ago, it is deemed by UNESCO as one of the "Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" . It is an art form that integrates song, dance and skills. From the elaborate costumes and make-up worn by the actors, the complicated and resplendent stage devices, to the walkway extending into the audience, every performance is a quintessential model of Kabuki. This seminar, presented by Shochiku Company Limited, includes a short performance and a lecture, taking the audience into the mysterious and breath-taking world of Kabuki.
