尤里‧巴什梅特與莫斯科獨奏家室內樂團
Yuri Bashmet & Moscow Soloist Chamber
2009/06/15
Introduction
Dubbed as the “Paganini of the viola”, Ukrainian-born Yuri Bashmet is not only the first violist to give solo recitals in halls such as La Scala opera house of Milan and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, but he is also a much celebrated musician in countries such as France, Italy, Russia and Lithuania. His outstanding artistic achievements have been given further credit by various international film and television corporations. In Copenhagen, 1995, he received a Sonnings Musicfond, the most prestigious music award in the world, which has also honoured the likes of Stravinski, Bernstein, Britten, and Rubinstein. You will witness what vivacious vigour “the world's greatest violist” (said Ann-Sophie Mutter) has, when Bashmet conducts the Chamber Orchestra Moscow Soloists in the Concert Hall with an eclectic selection from different periods.
