SPIN 2010

Spin is an integrated work from choreographer Huang Yi, combining dance, photography, video, music and arts. By blending these elements and changing the traditional way of production, he explores the unlimited possibilities of dance in the future. With custom-made mechanical arms, he creates a stable yet floating viewpoint on the camera, capturing the movement of dancers. As the camera rotates, we see a panoramic visual discussion of elements such as body and technology in interaction. The team composes of entirely artists from Taiwan and was invited to Enghien-Les-Bains Centre des Arts in France.
