陳玉慧台灣文學獎劇場《海神家族》

The Taiwanese family saga Mazu's Bodyguards has been compared to Gabriel García Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude – the magical realist classic. Having been a bestseller in recent years, Mazu's Bodyguards won several literary awards in the Chinese language and has been translated and published in other languages, therefore internationally acknowledged. Novelist Jade Y. Chen takes up playwriting this time and is directing her own play, transforming her own literary work into a theatrical performance. Twenty years since their first collaboration, the famous female leads of Ming Hwa Yuan and Sun Tsui-feng are to lead the cast in the world premiere of this theatrically surrealistic stage production of Mazu's Bodyguards .
