NSO音樂學苑—布拉姆斯的室內樂重奏樂章

NSO Lecture Concert 3,4,5,6-Brahms Chamber Music
2010/05/22
Introduction
In the late 19th century, Germany was the centre of the Romantic Music. Yet Brahms showed that he cared nothing about the debates between the movements by firmly following the tracks of Bach and Beethoven. Brahms preferred the purity of the Classical Era and created abundant chamber music. Unlike the vibrant chamber music composed by Schubert and Schumann, Brahms demonstrated simplicity in his works that was based on the classic structure and extended by his personal touch. Brahms's style is a conversation between sensibility and fantasy that is filled with his romantic emotions. Brahms' Chamber Music performed by string instruments are particularly controversial, the enchanting melody leads the way to explore the soul of this eccentric and unique composer.
