玉簪記

The new edition of the Jade Hairpin is the second Kun Opera production by Kenneth Hsien-Yung, Pai after his huge success, the Peony Pavilion, in 2004. He used calligraphy and Chinese painting to create a minimalistic, poetic and dreamy quality. The costume design further refines the production, bringing Kun Opera music to a brand new level. The leading characters are the talented chief actor and actress from the Peony Pavilion. Under the personal instruction of Kun Opera masters Yue, Mei-Ti and Hua, Wen-Yi, they're to show us a fiery romance that breaks every taboo and convention. Sponsored by the Robert H. N.
