台灣國際藝術節 羅伯．威爾森與魏海敏《歐蘭朵》

In 1928, Virginia Woolf published Orlando, a semi-biographical novel depicting the protagonist’s life that spans 400 years. In 2009, Robert Wilson will collaborate with An-Chi Wang and Hai-Ming Wei to stage this“gender-bending-twisting-conflating”story. Wei’s monologue will display the dramatic change that Orlando undergoes when he metamorphoses from a man to a woman, and you will also perceive the stylistic visual effects, music, costumes and all the combination of Eastern and Western theatrical elements in the play.
