The following facilities are available for people with disabilities:
  • Dedicated public telephones are located on the Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor of the National Theater; and at the Ground Floor and Second Floor of the National Concert Hall. In addition, the Center provides a 24-hour program enquiry hotline at: +886-2-33939999.

  • Wheelchair ramps are available in the basement and audience access of the Ground Floor, and there are wheelchair entrances on the Second Floor of the National Theater and the Concert Hall, as well as at the Experimental Theater. Four wheelchair seats are available inside the National Theater and the National Concert Hall. Occupants of such seats should possess their own wheelchairs.

  • Toilet facilities for the disabled are situated on the Ground Floor and Second Floor of the National Theater, the Second Floor of the National Concert Hall and the Recital Hall (basement).

  • Guide dogs are welcome at all the events. Please inform the front of stage service office before the performance if you will be accompanied by a guide dog.

  • Tactile tiles are built at the two side entrances of the Plaza on the Ground Floor of the National Theater and the National Concert Hall. In addition, an audio system and buttons in Braille inside the elevators are available for the visually impaired people.

  • There are six parking spaces for the disabled in the basement car park of the National Theater and the National Concert Hall. Disabled people may obtain free parking (7:00 ~ 24:00) by producing a Disabled ID, driver's license and vehicle registration at the Car Park Office. Overnight parking is available at a fee of NT$210 per day.
    - To quickly find their seat upon entry, disabled audience can dial the direct line +886-2-33939848 or 33939844 between 15:00 and 18:00 on the date of performance to arrange for a special guide to lead them to their seat.
    - he Center publishes the booklet "Service for Disabled People," introducing our dedicated services and facilities available for people with disabilities. Please collect it at the Information desk of the National Theater or National Concert Hall.

    Discounted Ticketing is available for people with disabilities (only applicable to programs hosted by the Center):
    - Disabled persons, together with one companion, can collect free tickets for the next month's programs, by present their "Disabled Person's Handbook" (together with one photocopy) at CH Box Office from the 2nd Sunday to the 3rd Sunday of every month until free tickets are distributed.
    - When purchasing tickets for events hosted by the Center, disabled persons, together with one companion if required, can enjoy a 50% discount. With all concession ticket allocations, proof of identity upon entrance at the Grand Foyer is required; otherwise, the remaining amount equal to full price plus a service charge of NT$20 will be required.
The following services are available for senior citizens:
  • Senior citizens over 65 years of age can enjoy 50% discount on the tickets for all programs hosted by the Center. With all concession ticket allocations, proof of identity upon entrance at the Grand Foyer is required; otherwise, the remaining amount equal to full price plus a service charge of NT$20 will be required.
  • Our medical staff is always on standby to offer medical consultation and first-aid services.
  • Wireless taxi paging services are available to senior citizens after each performance. Please contact the Front of House staff.
  • Considering the needs of senior citizens, an "instant-help bell" is installed in front of the glass doors at the Box Office and Gift Shop of the National Concert Hall and the National Theater. Our staff is always ready to serve.
