Three plazas surrounding the National Theater and Concert Hall are available to the public for rent. They are the Main Plaza, the Main Gate Terrace and the Theater Terrace.
The Main Plaza is superb for large-scale performances and live broadcast events, and the Terrace in front of the Main Gate is ideal for small-scale events, whereas Theater Terrace is perfect venues for small-scale outdoor performances.

Application Procedure
  1. Booking schedule
    Telephone enquiry and booking. Fill in the application form and submit to the National Chiang KaiShek Cultural Center via fax.

  2. Qualification of Application

    A.All private or public institutions, schools and corporations can apply according to the regulations of the Center.

    B.Submit application at least 8 weeks and no more than 1 year prior to the event.

  3. Application Submission
    Either in person or via mail, submit the following documents:

    A.Certificate proving your organization is officially registered (e.g., certificate of registration)

    B.Application Form with official chops of the institution and business holder.

    C.Detailed event proposal (including date and time in which the event is to be used, nature of the event, projected number of attendees, the program form, venue decoration, and detailed information on the responsible organizations and individuals).

    D.NT$1,000 application fee

  4. Signing Contract
    Applications can be processed and the contract signed within 1 to 2 weeks upon receipt of the application form. Full amount of rental fee and deposit should be paid upon the signing of the contract.

Footnotes:
  1. If it is intended to use the corridors or stairways of the Theater or Concert Hall for your activities, please provide the descriptions and layout charts. Pending final agreement from center officials, please pay an additional NT$5,000 fee for relevant usage, thereafter your application would be considered complete.

  2. Duration of lease: 00:00~24:00. If stage removal exceeds beyond 24:00, the venue rental shall be supplemented by aforementioned stage removal fees.

  3. Deposit payment shall be doubled for: Stage installation exceeding 3 consecutive days; or stage removal exceeding one day; or activity duration exceeding 3 consecutive days.

  4. For large-scale activity intended to last more than 15 consecutive days, Venues rental fee will be negotiated otherwise.

  1. “Profit-oriented” is defined as follows: All activities which involve commercial transactions, or which are designed with commercial purposes, through marketing, advertising and promotion (i.e.: garden party, pop music concert, fairs, exhibitions, photographing of TV commercials and the likes.).

  2. Application fee and venue rental are exempted when governmental agencies use the venues to either greet or bid farewell to distinguished foreign heads-of-state, or to hold national ceremonies, and which is made by CKS Memorial Hall. School teachers/students and organizations for the physically/mentally challenged, are entitled to a 50% discount, when using the venues for educational or charitable purposes.

  3. All payments shall be made either in cash, or by cashier’s check, or by wire transfer (T/T). In the event that an issued check bounces (for whatever reason), making payment collection unfeasible - the applicant shall be deemed as in “breach of contract”, for not having executed full and due payment; the applicant shall also be held solely responsible for all penalty fee and litigious charges.

  4. Full amount should be paid by cash, non-post-dated check or electronic bank transfer.
