Performing groups or related organizations are welcome to rent spaces at the National Theater and the National Concert Hall that are dedicated to purposes other than performance. These include the Grand Foyer, Lounge and Multi-Media Projection Room.

Grand Foyers
 The glamorous Grand Foyers, with their classic staircases and opulent chandeliers, are the perfect setting for receptions. In addition to the 15th Anniversary Celebration reception of the Chiang Kai-shek Cultural Center, the Grand Foyers have also hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2001 Annual Conference of the Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres. Such events have proven excellent opportunities to impress international guests and local dignitaries alike with the splendor of Chinese cultural performances.
The Grand Foyer is not limited to the in-house use of the Center. Many performing groups frequently need a spacious location to host receptions in conjunction with their performances. Thus, the Grand Foyers of both the National Theater and the National Concert Hall are available for public rental.
Exhibition (In Conjunction with Performances in the Two Halls)
Hours Open: 9:00 ~ 17:00
Rental Fee: Non-commercial purpose: NT$5,000/day
Commercial purpose: NT$12,000/day
Deposit: Advance payment of NT$5,000.
Note: Extra charge incurred for AV equipment rental.
Reception/ Tea Reception
Hours Open: 9:00 ~ 22:00.
Rental Fee: NT$65,000 for each time segment. Four (4) hours is regarded as one time segment. An extra charge of NT$10,000 will be added for every additional hour. However, additional use of three hours is considered as one time segment. (Additional use of 30 min. is counted as one hour.)
Deposit: Advance payment of NT$10,000.

Lounges
 Situated on the 4th Floor of the National Theater and the National Concert Hall, the Lounges provide a quiet and elegant ambiance for hosting receptions, press conferences or even small-scale seminars. At present, the Center holds all press conferences for our in-house programs here, as well as those for regular concerts hosted by the National Symphony Orchestra.
Hours Open: 8:00 ~ 23:00.
Rental Fee: NT$8,000/ time segment for arts & cultural groups; NT$12,000/time segment for general public. Four (4) hours is regarded as one time segment. An extra charge of NT$2,000 will be added for every additional hour of use after 23:30. Rental is not available on the day of a performance.
Deposit: Advance payment of NT$10,000.

Multi-media Projection Room
Located underneath the National Concert Hall, the Multi-media Projection Room is fully equipped with a piano and audio-visual system. The ideal location for professional lectures and large-scale conferences, it has long been a favorite venue for music rehearsals, and seminars on a wide range of subjects.
Music Rehearsal
Hours Open: 9:00 ~ 22:00.
Rental Fee: NT$2,000/Time segment. Four (4) hours is regarded as one time segment. An extra charge of NT$500 will be added for every additional hour. However, additional use of three hours is considered as one time segment. (Additional use of 30 min. is counted as one hour.)
Deposit: Advance payment of NT$1,000.
Note: Extra charge of NT$1,000 incurred for piano.
All Types of Seminars
Opening Hours: 9:00 ~ 22:00.
Rental Fee: 2 Service Staff are available: NT$7,000/time segment
Service Staff Not Required: NT$5,500/ time segment
