Situated in the heart of Taipei, the National Theater and the National Concert Hall are professional venues promoting a wide variety of arts performances and events. The names of these glamorous buildings speak for themselves: The National Theater mainly offers the performances of drama, ballet, musicals, operas, etc. In addition, an Experimental Theater is available for the performances of small-scale dramas or dances. The National Concert Hall, meanwhile, is a spiritual haven for appreciating symphonies, other instrumental musical performances and choral presentations. Also available is the Recital Hall, the ideal venue for performances of chamber music, as well as recitals for vocalists or instrumentalists alike.
Apart from the performances produced in-house by the National Theater and Concert Hall, we specially reserve our facilities 50% of the time for public use at very low rental rates. Qualified applicants include government agencies, private arts promotion companies, performing arts groups and individuals.
