 The National Theater and the National Concert Hall have a fully equipped Scene Shop, Costume Shop and Costume Repair Room for the use of performing groups or individuals during the pre-production period. In addition, a number of rehearsal studios for music, dance or drama rehearsal are available.

flooring, ballet rails and piano are available. Piano rental
is restricted to the one placed in the studio.
Fees
- Scene and Costume Shops are rented on a daily basis. Maximum charge NT$3,000/day; various discounts available upon enquiry.
- Studios are rented on a time segment basis. Morning segment: 9:00 ~13:00; Afternoon segment: 13:30 ~ 17:30; and Evening Segment: 18:00 ~ 22:00.
- Dance Studios: Weekday rental: NT$3,000 in morning and afternoon segments. Weekend and weekday evenings: NT$3,500. Various discounts available upon enquiry.
Application Procedure:
- Submit application form 15 days prior to the rental period.
Total fees should be paid in full 5 days prior to rental.
- Automatic waiver of usage if not used by the date and time
segment applied. All fees are non-refundable. All overdue usage
or extra equipment rental fees should be paid in full within
14 days of the rental period.
- Rehearsal Studios may be applied for three months in advance
of rental date. Rental dates may be booked by either telephone
or fax. Maximum rental period is 45 days for Dance Rehearsal
Studios, and 7 days for Music Rehearsal Studios.
- Access Identity must be applied for during the rental period.
Usage Restrictions
- Maximum Occupancy of Studios: 100 people.
- You are required to prepare tools and all durable goods when
using the Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Costume Repair Room and
Laundry.
- You are required to strictly follow the Regulations of Use
and related Safety Precautions implemented by the Center.
- Applying Units are not allowed to adjust or exchange their
usage rights in private, unless the permission of the Center
is given. One time segment is limited to the use of one applying
unit only.
- Studios are for the use of rehearsal only. The content and
style of rehearsal should not interrupt the normal performances
of the Center. Please properly safeguard all personal possessions,
scenes, props and all other items. The Center is not responsible
for any losses or damages.
- Chairs, score holders, musical instruments, etc. should be
managed at your own expense. Users are responsible to keep rented
spaces clean and tidy. Any damages or losses incurred to the
venues or facilities of the Center should be compensated by
the applying units.
